River

Our family has been wanting to get a puppy for a long time now! And the perfect one came along. There was a family that had a daughter with cancer and just couldn't take care of the dog anymore and wanted to give him to a family, and we were the lucky ones to take him. His name is River and he is 1 year old and sweet as can be! The kids are sooooo excited to have him in our family! Danner has already taught him to sit and to shake. Lot's of memories to be made with River.

First day of School.

Well they are off again, First day of school was today! And they were excited,nervous, but excited! I am sad The summer just didn't seem long enough. Danner is in 3rd grade and Chloe is in 1st, they both have awesome teachers and I think it is going to be a wonderful year. After we got home from dropping them off Camden ask me " where are Danner and Sissy" even though he was just with me when we dropped them off, I think he is sad and is going to miss them! But here is to a great school year!

Our Winter Wonderland......

These pics are not in any order, but this is some of the fun we have been having lately. Blane got new tracks for his four-wheeler so we had to try them out and do some sledding. The kids had a blast even though it was FREEZING!!!! I think our winter is just beginning so we have a lot of sledding to do!

Happy Halloween.....

A long walk with a lil boy, trucks, stroller, and huge old trunk......

Me and my lil partner in crime went for a walk behind our house the other day and he just happened to be wearing a tie. And I just happened to have my camera with me and on top of our jogging stroller just happened to be a big ole trunk! I love taking pics of him but he is starting to figure it out and only let me take a few before he wanted to continue our walk! I am really enjoying my time at home with just him while the other two are in school we miss them but we have a lot of secret fun!

Bitter Sweet.....

School started Mon. and the kids were way excited, I however was sad! I love to see them grow and spread there wings but I hate it at the same time, I miss them so much while they are gone and I just want to keep em little! Lil miss walked right into kindergarten and found her name on her desk sat down and was ready to go didn't even care about her dad and I. But Big brother was a little bit more cautious he didn't want us to leave until he had everything set up and knew what was going on! It is nice to be back on a schedule but I wish we still had summer nights to have slumber parties in the living room and watch movies and eat popcorn and laugh until we fall asleep! Here's to a great year!
